Th US News & World report publishes every year a ranking of the best countries in the world based on the global perceptions of 78 countries in terms of trade, economy and quality of life. The criteria used for assessment are : Adventure, Citizenship, Culutral influence, Enterpreneurship, Heritage, Movers, Open for business, Power and Quality of life.

Morocco is one of the 40 best countries in the world, and has been improving continuously in recent years.
Compared to the criteria used by the American institute for the assessment, Morocco shows good performances in terms of growth (14th), heritage (17th), adventure (24th), openness for business (31st), and cultural influence (36th).
