THE LEGAL AND REGULATORY FRAMEWORK FOR BUSINESS
The reform of business law has become a strategic priority for Morocco and an urgent necessity to modernise the legal framework and adapt it to international standards.
In this respect, the National Committee for Business Environment ensures the swift adoption of international norms and standards, implement and improve the legal and regulatory framework for business. This concerns a number of areas, particularly: access to funding, corporate governance, management of public procurement and payment deadlines … etc.
DEMATERIALISATION AND SIMPLIFICATION OF PROCEDURES
The dematerialisation of administrative procedures applied to companies is one of the priorities of the committee and constitutes a strategic lever for strengthening transparency, simplifying and accelerating procedures, which will generally help companies remain focussed on wealth creation.
CNEA aims, through its action plans, to adopt concrete and effective simplification measures to facilitate and minimise the interaction between the administration and companies. This concerns several areas, such as business creation, payment of taxes, transfer of ownership, international trade, obtaining authorisations, etc.
SINGLE WINDOW SYSTEM
The establishment of single windows has contributed to grouping together all the steps and procedures to be implemented in one single point, whether physical or electronic. The CNEA aims through this new system to provide companies and project holders with appropriate, updated and relevant information, help them identify the documents required for each administrative step and complete all the formalities with one interlocutor without having to go to different administrations or bodies.
