As part of the CNEA's activities and with support from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), a study trip to Germany was organised from 12 to 15 July 2016 for some senior officials of the Moroccan administration.
This mission forms part of the government’s efforts to adapt some provisions of the Reform of Book V of the Commercial Code on the regulation of corporate insolvency to international standards.
This trip was also an occasion to draw inspiration from the German model on how to deal with companies in difficulty through:
- field visits to institutions and competent courts;
- interviews with officials and judges from the German Ministry of Justice as well as with professionals: business lawyers, and insolvency administrators.
