As part of the work done to strengthen the CNEA capacities in terms of methods and tools for project management and monitoring, the CNEA members received, in April 2016, an introductory training on the “Capacity WORKS” management model.
This is a management model, developed by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) to efficiently organise and structure the cooperation systems in which various organisations participate.
This model is structured around five success factors namely: strategy, cooperation, governance structure, process, learning and innovation. It comes with 43 instruments distributed over the above-mentioned success factors. This training workshop provided an opportunity for the secretariat members to put these instruments into practice.
