Supported by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), CNEA’s Secretariat has put in place a methodological guide on project management. This guide aims to harmonise the methods used and provide project managers with practical models and tools based on internationally recognized standards. In order to ensure effective and sustainable appropriation of this guide, training sessions on how to use and implement it were organised on November 26, 27 and 28 and December 5, 6 and 7, 2017, and were attended by over 60 participants from the public and private sectors. This training allowed participants to better understand the methodological guide, the deliverables and related tools.
The sessions were organised in the form of workshops, and participants were divided into different working groups based on the training components and were trained on how to prepare project deliverables based on real projects (framework note, stakeholder analysis, risk analyses, etc.). This training was also an occasion to collect comments and observations made by the participants on this guide in order to make the necessary adjustments to ensure its better appropriation.
