The Common Company Identifier (ICE) was institutionalized by decree No. 2-11-63 of May 20, 2011.
This long-awaited project was integrated into the CNEA's 2014 Action Plan and was officially launched on October 30, 2014 during a ceremony inaugurated by the Head of Government in the presence of public and private operators concerned by the project.
The ICE has been made compulsory for all companies since June 30, 2016.
This reform made it possible to :
- Speed the flow of inter and intra-administration communication;
- Facilitate access to public services for companies, economic actors and natural persons;
- Reduce the number of documents required by administrations when carrying out administrative formalities
- Facilitate the establishment of the Moroccan Observatory for Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs);
- Help establish companies online.
