The CNEA secretariat attended the planning workshop, which was organised by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), on 3 November 2015. The workshop took place as part of the Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) Support Programme and was dedicated to identifying the activities to be implemented for the first component « improving the business environment ».
Discussions carried out by the working groups during this meeting were guided by the strategic orientations issued by representatives from the key partners of the programme and focused on the two strategic activities that will be implemented in the context of the first component, namely, establishing public-private dialogue and improving Morocco's ranking in the World Bank's Doing Business report. Similarly, each working group developed a reflection based on a project identification method specific to GIZ, which was used as basis for developing the activities arising therefrom.
It is worth recalling that the objectives of the first Component include providing support for the National Committee for Business Environment in its coordinating role with other strategic partners, and implementing appropriate measures with a view to improving the business environment and facilitating public-private dialogue.
Projects identified, at the end of this workshop , involved the following aspects :
- Diagnosis of the current situation : building on existing experiences in Morocco and defining a benchmark of good practices in the field of public- private dialogue
- Stakeholders: Mapping and categorising stakeholders involved in public-private dialogue;
- Communication : identifying channels of communication, analysing and choosing dialogue channels, using new technologies (web, social networks ...) to create an exchange platform.
